South Florida Bass & Peacock Bass Reports 3-19-08

mike-greico-3-12-08-005.jpgmike-greico-3-12-08-001.jpgBass fishing on Lake Okeechobee this past week was quite interesting. We haven’t fished the the lake since hurricane Wilme struck in October of 2005. The lake levels are still quite low and dangerous for most bass boaters. Fishing south of Clewiston in the rim canal we had a nice day boating 15 bass up to 4 lbs. and losing 2 nicer ones at the side of the boat. All of these fish were caught on Gambler giggy heads and zoom trick worms bouncing the bottom. The South Florida Everglades should be getting better everyday for largemouth bass with the water starting to drop after last weeks heavy rain fall. For more more information on fishing fishing the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami areas for Peacock bass contact us by e-mail at or our website at for bookings or current fishing reports.  (954) 445-1811
