Mike Kenny and I were out on January 2, 2010 and Mike landed over 20 peacocks himself despite high 40 degree temperatures in the morning. Peacock bass are Amazon cichlids and cold water can kill them especially below 60 degrees. So to be able to find and locate and catch these species under these conditions is sometimes difficult. Mike had no problem evidenced by this beautiful 5 lb. fish.
