South Florida Peacock Bass Fishing

Jim Reed's 3 lb. male butterfly peacock

Miami Peacock Bass Canals

Jim Reed and his brother-in-law Steve were out for about 6 th time with us and we caught about 26 peacock bass up to three pounds. Jim missed a huge male peacock I estimate was over 6 lbs. easily. Oh well Jim you’ve landed a 6 lb. fish before with us. It’s been decent fishing lately for this time of year and I’m quite pleased how well they’ve been biting. We had a minor fish kill but with all the small peacocks I’m seeing that won’t have much of an effect on the future fishing that’s for sure. The numbers are awesome that I’m seeeing chasing our baits. That’s greta for the future of the fishery. E-mail us at floridafishing@bellsouth.net or call me at (954) 445-1811 for booking a guided largemouth bass or peacock bass fishing trip to South Florida.
